Introducing you to my favorite salad dressing – an allergy-friendly version of green goddess dressing. It can be overwhelming to find a healthy and allergy-friendly salad dressing … especially with a dairy and garlic allergy. This dressing is packed with healthy and fresh ingredients – avocado, basil, cilantro and spinach. It’s has a nice tangy and flavorful punch to it, serving as a perfect topper to any salad. Yesterday, I used this dressing on my arugula, prosciutto and grapefruit salad. And best of all – it’s free from the top 8 allergens (and garlic!). Give this recipe a go and let us know what you think!

Allergy-Friendly Green Goddess Dressing Recipe
Equipment
- Blender (we use our Vitamix)
Ingredients
- 1 medium-sized avocado
- 1/2 cup basil leaves (I like using sweet basil)
- 1/2 cup EVOO
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup cilantro
- 1/4 cup fresh spinach
- 2 tsp lime juice (you can also use fresh squeexed lemon juice too)
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/8 tsp salt
Instructions
- Throw all of the ingredients into a blender (we use our vitamix) for 60 seconds, until creamy. If you want to thin out the recipe, add a touch more water until it reaches the consistency of your liking. Pairs perfectly with any type of salad or as a veggie dip.
